I have lived in Medford since 2009. Graduate in Project Development and Management, I have worked as a Project Manager for Nonprofit Organizations in Togo / West Africa where I grew up. A part of my responsibilities consisted of helping young people learn skills and embroidery basics they can use for their own project. (I have built my skills watching my seamstress mom sew and trying to make myself dresses for my dolls when I was 4!) Over years, I still maintain my love of handmade crafting. I use different kind of fabrics to make clothing and home decoration items for sale or as gifts for friends.
A handmade item is not just a product you like, get and enjoy! It is a transmission of the love, the excitement the artist has experienced while making it.
