I have a double focus in my art. I delight in color and pattern, balancing spontaneity and planning in both weaving and gelatin printmaking. Saori weaving promotes the philosophy that everything is a fingerprint of the artist and that there are no mistakes. I, however, aim toward my own sense of perfection. Gelatin prints tend to be very spontaneous. To exert more control over the final result, I sometimes digitally alter or augment my prints with additional media and then produce them as giclee prints.
I am or have been a dancer, artist, educator, Art Therapist and seeker of joy.
