Biography
Kara Hickey is a graduate of the New England School of Art and Design in Boston Ma. 1991.
She is an active member of LEXART in Lexington Ma. where she teaches Enameling classes.
Currently Kara is also an active member and tenant of the Western Ave. Studios in Lowell, Ma. where she has her studio and sells her work. This facility houses aprox. 300 working artists. Kara often states that she feels luck to have joined such a flourishing, and vibrant community of artists. She feels she has found a real home at Western Ave. Having her own studio has allowed her to evolve as an artist.

Inspired by nature and the beauty that surrounds me. I strive to make wearable art, through my medium of Silver and Enamel.
