Biography

Greetings! My name is Angeline Tummino. I was born in the Philippines and moved to America at a tender age of 9 with my whole family. I started my journey in L.A. California, then moved on to Virginia, to finally settle and call Boston my home, where I work as a medical assistant in a pediatric office for 20 years. I enjoy painting as a hobby during my spare time. My inspiration for art is my late grandfather, Tereso Flores, who was an architect and an artist out in the West Coast area; therefore, to honor in his memory, I sign all of my paintings with my maiden name: FLORES. Through him, and teaching myself at home, I learned and developed my own technique in painting as a "Self-Taught-Artist." Everyone in my entire family paints, draws, plays instruments or writes music, poems, and short stories. Art has always been a part of our family, from my grandfather, down to my father, to my siblings, through my two children and all their cousins, therefore, through the Flores blood, Art emerges deep from within our souls, through music and paintings, which links us with joy, and I hope it brings you and people from around the world some sort of happiness as well. Thank you.
