I'm a divorced father of 3 who by day works for the world's largest safety razor manufacturer. By night I'm an artist, photographer, graphic designer, and web developer.
My passion to create has led me down many paths and I am excited for this latest journey into the world of playing card art.
Artist Statement
Kirigami is the Japanese art form that uses cut and folded pieces of paper to create works of art.
My style of Kirigami involves layering cut-paper images onto a playing card to create a 3D effect. I call it Shohin Kirigami.
The idea came to me while playing card games with my family. I chose the name after some research: Shohin translates to "Small Goods" and Kirigami is "Cut Paper".
