Biography
Having been born in Japan and having creative parents who encouraged me to be the same, I am forever inspired by the combination of the influences of my Japanese heritage and my western upbringing. I like to call my pieces 'East that sometimes meets West'. I adore the combination of beautiful Asian prints placed seemingly simply on maybe a solid shape, always keeping in mind the functionality of the piece. After graduating from MassArt with a Fashion Design degree, I worked in New York and then Tokyo before deciding to return here to start my business in 2004.I’ve met so many great people here and really appreciate the support that I’ve received.
