About the Artist
Elaina Bates-Egan’s paintings are rooted in abstract expressionism and explore color, texture, and movement while paying homage to the natural world. Much of her work uses the lens of Ancient Greek mythology to explore the complexities and nuances of the human experience. Elaina is a Lowell, MA native but currently lives in Medford, MA with her husband, two little girls, and dog Matilda. Her studio is located at Jerome Street Studios in Medford, MA
