About the Artist
Cara Finnerty Coleman was born and raised in Massachusetts, graduating in 2001 from Massachusetts College of Art and Design. Her work focuses on woodland animals and their adventures across enchanted, dreamlike landscapes.
Little Bear Illustration is named after the artist's very own little bear, a small yet sturdy animal of questionable lineage. The Bear was a constant companion and together they embarked upon many adventures. After years in the concrete jungle of New York City, the pair relocated to the seashore, taking in nature and finding inspiration wherever they roamed.
Cara's work has been shown in Massachusetts, Maine, Rhode Island, and New York City.
