Volunteering for West Medford Open Studios

We can always use the help of neighbors, students, and fellow artists to ensure the success of West Medford Open Studios.  Whether you have time during the event weekend or throughout the year, we welcome your support.

Some of the volunteer opportunities are:

• Helping with the kickoff party (to which all volunteers are invited)
• Distributing flyers in the neighborhood
• Helping with other publicity in Medford and surrounding communities
• Inflating balloons for site markers
• Delivering site markers
• Photographing The Event
• "Studio-sitting" to give an artist a chance to visit other sites

These and other tasks put you in touch with the community of artists who are organizing WMOS and those who are showing their work. Most rewarding is the chance to be part of this upbeat neighborhood event during which all participants get to greet neighbors, and friends (and make new friends) as they wend their way through the various sites.
