About the Artist
I am a collage artist from Arlington MA. I use a variety of repurposed materials in my work and enjoy creating public art collaborating with fellow artists.Working with paper lets my imagination soar like the birds I create. I find myself looking at ordinary images in a whole new way, seeing just color and texture. Matching the maps with the natural habit of the bird reminds people to think beyond GPS.
In Arlington, I am the chair of ArtLinks a local network group, active in Arts Arlington as the co-chair of the Community Engagement Committee for Arts Arlington. I am working on the Arlington 250 effort.
