About the Artist
I am a potter and a painter. I have been pursuing the creative process all my life. When I discovered pottery and began decorating my wheel thrown pieces with my painting, I found a wonderful union of two types of art. I became enamored by the many phases of making and then decorating ceramic pieces. My pottery is functional, and I enjoy making pieces that I know people will use in their homes. I recently opened my own studio and the labor of love that I put into the creation and maintenance of my studio has added joy to the entire creative process of pottery-making and painting.
