About the Artist
Marsy’s art transforms a lifetime worth of collecting, years’ worth of workshop samples and experiments, and an inability to discard even the most tattered fabrics into unique textile collages. She creates artwork using recycled and reclaimed fabrics to construct collages filled with humor, nostalgia, and storytelling. They are embellished with embroidery, sequins, buttons, and other treasured shiny bits. Works are then framed in found boxes to create artwork ready for display.
