My wife, Silvia, and I make handcrafted artwork. I work with my parents, who make geometric designs using bronze wires that we call "stars". We also use wood, glass, and other materials to create these beautiful pieces.
Silvia is learning to make jewelry from her cousin, a professional jewler, as well as organic soaps, shampoos and other products from people in her community. Silvia is from Northern Morazán, El Salvador, where both of us have been living, and where these types of handcrafts are commonly made and used in daily life. We are in Medford now for several months, and we look forward to sharing our various forms of artwork.
