About the Artist
My artwork begins with white fabric. I dye, paint and print the fabric which is cut up, sewn together, layered with batting, backing, quilted and embroidered with colored thread. I adorn my art with beads, buttons and found objects. The layers of color and imagery create texture and richness. Each peice develops it's own personality.
